I bought this to replace a poorly designed Dorman unit that I bought to replace my broken factory bar. This Belltech arrived and I was immediately impressed with the quality over the Dorman unit. This bar is well crafted, nicely painted, and comes with new end links that are the proper length(unlike the Dorman ones that were 3 inches too long) as well as new frame mount bushings. The Dorman unit was too wide and my tires would rub the bar at full turns both directions. Not so with the Belltech, even at full turns there is enough room to fit your hand between the bar and tires. Since the new bar is solid and not hollow like the original, there is much better handling characteristics to be had for a low price. Save yourself some time, skip Dorman and get the one that fits!My vehicle: 2004 Silverado, 2 wheel drive, extended cab.
