Crankshaft pulley (Vibration Damper) Holding tool for crankshaft pulley replacement on 1.8L 2.0L TSI engines.
This is a fine piece of VW tool goodness. It is well made and makes removing the crankshaft pulley a breeze. It is suitable for a wide range of VW Group car brands.
It fits very well for any VW or Audi 2.0L turbo DOHC I-4 TSI engine. It is built very strong and almost impossible to bend or break in any way. It can be used to remove the crankshaft pulley, so to speak it is a must do in the absence of an impact wrench.

It’s the correct size but the two prongs that are supposed to fit into the holes on the crank are quite short so it leads to slipping if you are not pushing really hard against the front. If you’ve got a second pair of hands it’s “good enough”

Trying to use this tool on stands is futile. You’ll also need a second person to hold it on the pulley while you’re on the breaker bar.

Impossible de maintenir la poulie avec cette outils parce que c'est mal conçue. Ca ne reste pas en place pour permettre de dévissé la vis de la poulie du vilebrequin.

Tool worked perfectly but you will need a breaker bar with it as the tool is very short.

Does not fit a VW 2.0L ABA engine crankshaft vibration damper. The pins are too short and in the wrong location.

Perfect fit. Worked just like i needed it to, help remove a pulley so i could remove the belt on a Volkswagen cc. Made nice and strong. I can definitely use this tool again.
