Purchased this loom a few months ago, have had 2 or 3 projects on it. 2 parts wore thin probably because I wasn't necessarily using it right. Reached out to Beka and they replaced the parts, no questions asked and gave me some advice on how to avoid the problem in the future. I added a apron bar to the loom and I am still a little challenged on keeping the warp tension but otherwise the loom is nice and I couldn't ask for better customer service!

It's nicely made and easily put together. It comes with clear instructions on this, and warping. I look forward to many years of use. The loom itself has a nice look and is well finished. I'm getting the hang of using it an have made some really successful projects, like the dishtowels in the photo. (I'm a brand new weaver). When I had a question, I call Beka and someone actually answered the phone and helped talk me through my issue. It's a small, family business and I'm so glad I chose this loom.

The heddle arrived cracked. There are also moderate dings in the side pieces. Instructions were insufficient for putting it together. Had to watch videos.UPDATE: I found a phone number for Beka. Very pleasant customer service team. They immediately offered to replace the cracked reed. I am new to weaving so I was not sure what to call some of the parts. I am glad they are helping me out. I wanted to support an American company with my purchase. I look forward to receiving the replacement part and getting started with weaving!

I ended up having to return it. I talked to one of the folks at Beka twice trying to figure out why the loom wasn't holding tension. After trying all their suggestions, I finally figured the problem was me. I have chronic tendonitis in both wrists, had carpal tunnel surgery on my right wrist and a total of three operations on my thumbs because of arthritis. I just could not get the tension tight enough to weave properly. I guess rigid heddle looms are not part of my future. The people at Beka were very helpful and allowed me to return it. If my wrists and hands were healthier, I'd be happily weaving away on it now.

I am using this to make towels and hand cloths. Like it because it is made in Usa. Also can use more than one heddle for more complicated patterns.

The design of this loom should be overhauled ,

The page with the instructions concerning the knobs should be right at the beginning of the manual and not at the end like an afterthought... I did it wrong the first time and all knobs came apart. No damage done since they go back together when you use em the proper way.

This is a wonderful loom for an affordable price. I find the notches on the back and front very helpful for warping, and the notches also make the loom work as a tapestry loom if you want to.
