This is a great umbrella to have on the beach! It creates a small little shelter cove for you and your friends and family. Great for keeping the sun off your skin if it's exceptionally hot and to keep your food from being attacked by seagulls!

At a comparable price to other umbrellas this one is decent. I will say that 3 of the umbrella "arms" branches whatever you want to call it have popped through the tip of the canopy. I need to figure out how to reinforce them so they want break through the rope like ends. Or this will be trashed it's only been opened 3 times

I really like this umbrella as you can use it as a shade at the beach or regular upright umbrella. It is easy to set up and was pretty sturdy. It held up in the wind well if you pin it down. Great umbrella to shield from the hot sun.

I was impressed with all the small details that make this umbrella great to use. It would appear the product was actually tried and tested and not just copied and thrown on Amazon.To start, the screw in post is a seperate piece from the umbrella, making it much easier to handle and drive into the ground. It has a small black pole clipped to the side, which can be used as a handle when twisting the base into the ground. Perfect solution, perfect storage spot.Next, the "wings" on the umbrella can easily be flipped up on top, to give a normal umbrella shape. When fully assembled and upright it's quite tall - I'm 6' tall and can easily stand underneath.If you want to use it on a beach as a half-tent, the upper pole portion can be unscrewed, the wings fold down, and it lays nice on the beach. Setup is still as easy as opening and umbrella - much easier to use than those giant 4-leg canopies.Finally, a set of ground stakes are included, but they also include 3 bags that can be filled with sand and clipped to the umbrella to serve as anchors!Overall I'm very happy with the design and function of this umbrella and it will make the next beach trip a breeze.

My wife and I decided to buy this not necessarily for the beach, but for our niece and nephew when they come to our house. We liked that it had a robust turn screw to go into the grass and stakes to tie down in strong winds while in our yard.The build quality was very impressive, and it held up incredibly well in the strong winds we had this weekend.We had bought a different unit from another brand last year, but it wouldn’t stay in the ground. This one, setup and tear down was much easier and the fabric was a much better material and worked as we needed.

Used this on a beach day. Two adults in chairs can sit under it. The pole twists into the ground easily . There are plenty of ways to secure it and it is simple to pack away.

So I wasn't expecting this to last long given the price, but at least I thought it could last me minimum half a year to cover next soccer season. The material of the umbrella, specifically the fabric is do thin and cheap. From one use the upper side of the umbrella got broken I don't even know how, but I think due to the wind pressure. You can see two small holes in the picture. The other thing that broke was the bag, at the end. The bag is same material as the shade. I took it out the box, put it in car trunk, and ride to the beach. Give them two stars because size is good and provides good shade.
