I was so excited to get this canopy for my birthday. We just used it for the first time at the lake with the stakes. It seems like it would be easy to set up and we have set up many tents and canopies over the years. It takes at least 4 people to do it. After setting it up the cords pulled the stakes out of the ground and shot 15 yards away at high speed. We had hammered the stakes in. Even if it hadn’t done that it doesn’t have good clearance and seemed very unsteady. We finally took it down. So disappointing and 5 days past return deadline! Set it up as soon as you get it so you can return it!

Finally a beach tent I can put up myself in 5-10 minutes. The side shade doesn’t clip to the top so that’s pretty useless, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

I just purchased and received it. I will go to the beach tomorrow and see how it performs. I recommend watching the videos, as they cleared up a little bit of confusion and showed how to really get a firm and secure shade set up. I love the compact size and large shade, so I'm hoping this is a success.

Bought this a year ago and still loving it.Just used this twice last week on the beach and it took only 10 minutes to setup and 5 minutes to take down.Hands down, best investment I ever made.

Our family is one who usually drags 3-4 umbrellas down to the beach on our yearly trips - heavy, cumbersome, and yes, the occasional end-over-end rolling across the beach in a high wind, praying someone doesn’t get impaled.Ordered the is against my husband’s wishes for our family of 9 adults and two babies. It was perfect! We had a couple of pretty windy days from Hurricane Milton, but this thing was awesome!! It flapped some in the worst wind gusts, but was solidly in place with lots of shade for us. It was lightweight to carry, easy to set up (takes a couple of times to really be a pro), and solidly in the sand.The only negative my husband could come up with was that he saw another brand that had reinforced corners where the poles go and wished this one had those. But the price was such a deal, and this one will hopefully last us many years, so no worries on that. It’s gotten a full seven days of use with no wear and tear so far.

I have not used it yet (it’s winter) but we did put it together in our family room and it was fantastic. It was pretty easy but of course we didn’t fill the pockets with sand. It was beautiful and the extra piece of fabric to put on the side when the sun changes direction is great. One of my bungee cords came frayed in one spot and I contacted the seller, sent him a picture and he sent me replacement bungees without having to return the entire Sunshade. Great customer service. Very happy with my purchase and with their customer service. I highly recommend this beautiful sunshade.

The tent is well made, pretty, and very effective. For once we could stay in the Florida sun for the whole day with six people sheltered. Here is the secret—-lay the tent flat and stretch the sand pouches out. THEN FILL THEM WITH AT LEAST 20 SCOOPS OF SAND. Stretch them so the tent itself is stretched a bit tight. Take the tent poles and raise the tent FIRST ON THE SIDE FACING THE WIND. The piles should be fairly close to the edge of the tent. You want to avoid a lot of fabric over the edge that could act a bit like a sail.Walk around the tent to tug the sandbags if necessary. Tweak the poles if they’re leaning, and enjoy. By the 3rd time, it took 15 minutes.

I bought the tent to use during our vacation on Captiva Island, Florida. The tent was easy to put up and provided great protection from the Florida sun. Sadly, we were forced to evacuate due to Hurricane Ian, and we couldn't take the tent due to lack of space in the car. Thought we would be able to get back on the island, but that didn't happen. Hope the owner of the home returns it, but if no, I will definitely buy the tent again. It was worth every penny!
