I was concerned that the gauge would be difficult to manage but it was perfect. The black paint is fragile when lacing the wheel so you must be very careful not to scratch off the black. My wheel is built and I'm just completing the truing so overall I'm happy with the product and the price.

These bicycle spokes seemed to be of poor quality. For some unknown reason the heads broke off easily so I had to keep replacing them. That wasn't too hard on the front wheel, but it was a huge ordeal on the back wheel, I had to completely remove the wheel from the bike and disassemble the hub with a special tool.

I have a bicycle with a damaged front rim, and ordered a replacement rem, which required a slightly different length spoke. It took less than an hour to replace the new rim to the existing hub, using these new spokes, and then perhaps another 30 minutes to adjust the spokes so that the wheel spun without wobble. I find the process satisfying. The spokes themselves were of good quality, at least as good as what was already there. Very satisfied..

Got 39 spokes and nipples in this order. Ordered a second set to build another wheel and got 39 pieces again so it doesn't appear to be a mistake. Otherwise met dimensional spec as noted. 5 stars would buy again.
