Perfect for my project. Just needed a light sanding to smooth it out, didn't really need it, I'm just over the top with my work. The edges were perfect. No imperfections that I could see. It takes stain extremely well. If I have another request for a paddle I'm definitely ordering from here!

It was better than I expected. Smoothly sanded with no gouges or cracks. A beautiful grain pattern. You can leave unfinished or finish and decorate it any way you like.

This is a great probate gift. The paddle is well made, and will take stain, lacquer, or paint if are giving this to someone. This could easily be used in a craft project as well. Great price too!
