The battery is just like the original from Apple, wow! It also has a 3-year warranty

My battery was failing in my 1st gen iPhone SE, and this one made it like new again! Not too difficult to install. Definitely recommend watching a how to video on YouTube, especially for how to put the stickers on the battery, as these are easy to mess up if you just wing it. Comes with a kit with everything you need. Three things you need to do: when opening the screen, there is a ribbon connector that connects the screen's home button to the phone body that is pretty fragile, so open the screen just a little until you can see it, and remove the retaining clip on the cable that's by the home button with tweezers, and use the plastic spudger to pop the cable end out. Also, when you open the screen, don't hinge the screen past 90 degrees from the body of the phone, as this can damage the wiring. And open it very carefully (sometimes the wiring is old and brittle, especially in a phone this old). I put a rubber band around my hydro flask, and use that to secure the screen in an upright position while I'm working on the phone. Also, keep track of where the screws go (if you mix them up, it can damage the phone. Battery charges and drains uniformly right out of the box without having to do any drain all the way/charge all the way cycles to calibrate the battery. Used a few different apps to check the mAh, and they all said 1624 mAh (OEM battery capacity), not 2200 mAh as advertised (it's pretty common for aftermarket batteries to print a false mAh rating on the sleeve to get you to buy it, and there oughta be a law, but I really don't care, as long as it has at least the mAh the OEM battery had). Definitely recommend!

The 'kit' did not contain all the tools needed to replace the battery, and the instructional video supposedly provided by the company was not provided. On the upside, the pentalobe screwdriver, Philips screwdriver, adhesive tape, and small plastic pry tools were adequate to the task at hand. The battery seems to be quite good, lasting for a very long time. I don't know how much is attributable to me having a bad battery for so long, my brain is shocked by something that lasts at all! I don't know how long the battery will maintain its longevity, as it is a generic battery, but I'm VERY impressed with it so far! If you buy this kit, I recommend watching the 'iFixit' video and the one by 'JerryRigEverything' to arm yourself with the information you need for a trouble-free replacement. In order to successfully install the battery from this kit, you will need to have one of those thin metal pry tools to get the screen up, or succeed in using the suction cup method shown in the 'iFixit' video. Pay close attention to the way the guy in the 'JerryRigEverything' video gently reconnects all the cables. The connectors are delicate, and it's difficult to know when they (he calls them 'Lego like', or something) are in the proper position to snap into place. Gently massaging them down and around until they are snapped in worked well for me, so the video cables worked great! Good luck, and May the Force be with you!

I installed the battery without issue and plugged it into coconut battery on my mac. It said that it was manufactured by desay which is a company that manufactures official iPhone battery for Apple so that’s a big plus. It said the design capacity was 1934 mah which isn’t what it advertised but it’s still 300 mah above the original capacity 🤷♂️. But it was a fresh battery that seems very stable so I give it 4 stars because the advertisement was wrong but everything else works well so 4 stars.

I took a chance and changed the battery on an old I phone I use to play music on my Bose docking station. Thanks to videos online, I did it!The battery was swelling and separating the frame from the phone, so I discovered it potentially needed to be replaced. Problem solved! Huge savings doing in myself rather than taking it someplace to have it done!

After watching some YouTube videos, swapping the old battery out of my 2016 iPhone SE was pretty straightforward. The adhesive strips broke immediately when attempting to remove the old, original factory battery. I used a gift card to slip it under the battery and help work the adhesive free. The tools that came with this kit worked great, although I did have to source a pair of fine tweezers from our medicine cabinet. They really should be included in the tool kit. The battery fit perfectly, and the terminal connection to the phone felt very positive and secure. My phone indicates the battery health/life is at 100% of its expected capacity. The battery started at 60% charge, but took a charge to 100% no problem. Time will tell if the longevity is there, but so far I am happy enough to order a 2nd kit for my wife’s phone. I will update this review if things go south.

The battery in my iPhone SE (1st Gen) was getting old, wasn't getting more than four hours out of a full charge. I replaced it with this battery, its an exact fit, now I'm getting a least 3 days out of a full charge.

This battery worked well for me for about 3 months. It was easy to install but I have installed a lot of these in the past so I am used to it. It worked well at first. The increased capacity was great. After 3 months it started to fail and would not hold a charge. I have to charge the battery 2-3 times a day now. It gets really hot in the phone and concerns me because of this. Not worth my time getting another battery from this company as I do not want to keep replacing them 3x a year. The listing states there is a 36 month warranty on this battery. I contacted the company to inquire about this and they gave me this huge list of tests and procedures I had to perform and give them screenshots of sensitive data in my phone and lots of other stuff. The warranty is misleading in my opinion as they require a ton of personal information from you when the simple fact is their product failed and they should stand behind it. This also went up by nearly 5 bucks since I last bought this.
