My husband used to take the trashcan to put his feet on, and I was having none of that so when I moved into our apartment and we were cohabitating, this was one of the first things I bought is easy to clean. I just use vinegar and water and it wipes right off The style is attractive. It matches our bathroom decor and it’s super sturdy. I definitely prefer this to a plastic one.

This product requires assembly of attaching the legs to the platform with hex-screws attached through pre-drilled holes in the legs into the pre-drilled holes in the platform. However the distance between the holes in the legs is less than the distance between the holes in the platform. I was able to assemble the product with some difficulty by forcing one of the two screws in each leg at a steep angle. The results is loose legs - I do not expect the stool to stay together for more than a few weeks even with gentle use. I purchased 2 of these and had the same problem with all four legs (two legs on both of two stools), so I suspect the entire product line was measured wrong and every stool purchased will fail. Do not waste your money.

Came with just the legs and base. Nothing to attach them with. Looks like there should have been a bag with screws, Allen wrench, and pads to put on the bottom of the legs. That bag is nowhere to be found.Update: they sent us a replacement with all the parts. The product itself is great. Looks nice and has held up. It's on the small side too which I like because it takes up less space when not in use. Only 4 stars now to accommodate the hassle of having to get a replacement from their mistake.

I now realize why countries I've visited in Asia are often holes in the ground for toilets. The squatting position empties my bowels so much more efficiently! This is very attractive, sturdy, and easy to assemble. It's compact enough to slide over next to the toilet when you don't need it. I've also used it as a shelf when I'm taking a bath!

After installing taller toilets in order to have clearance for the water pipes to install bidet seats, I've found the higher sitting position isn't always helpful in the process of going. Clearly everyone looking at these is aware of the squatty potty, and the reality is the elevated foot position to put you in more of a squat works. I can't say that this works and better or worse than any other one of these you are looking at. What I can say, is it helps relieve pressure in going, but the nice thing about the legs on the side is unlike a fully fronted product (like the squatty potty), a man can stand in front of the toilet to pee without having to stand at weird angles or on the side, which happens without the open front. Quality is good, 4 bolts to get installed and I've had no issues over the 6 months I've had this. I like the minimalism of it as well. I'm sure any of these will help you out, but this one really is a good one, seemed to be priced competitively, and I liked the look of it. If you like this one, it's worth picking up.
