These seals are handy for identifying identical containers, such as ammo cans or mil-spec plastic cases You can refer to an inventory list to learn the contents of the container. If the seal is intact you can rely on your original inventory list without having to recount items inside a container. They save me a lot of time in the long run, thus paying for themselves.

Described incorrectly. Description says useable length is 8". Product only has 6" useable length.
