I really like it and it works great for smash burgers and toasting buns… but after a few months one of the screws holding the handle… broke? It didn’t back out, it actually broke. Easy fix but disappointing.

I liked that it's wider than most. Dislike that it is not flat and will rock from side to side when placed on a flat surface.

Works a variety of ways, on and off my griddle. I was able to use in preparing smash burgers, taquito’s buy using weight to keep the form before cooking.

Quality, heavy, all you could ask for. Bacon cooked quicker and is flat. Reduces spatter but cooking bacon is a mess one way or another.

Frying bacon was a pain in the butt, but I didn't recognize it until I got this cast iron bacon press. It is SO much easier to cook bacon now. The bacon cooks evenly (no bubbled up fat, that only touches the pan when flipped on the bubbled up side). Now, the bacon is flat...so, happy BLT building! Also, bacon takes less time to cook...actually a lot less time. I like it! And I didn't even know I needed it.

❤️ this beautiful bacon press. For the high-end gourmet kitchen and even budget kitchen. Really worth the money. Heavy and it works. BE VERY ALERT that this bacon press is for cast-iron skillet ONLY! Not for nonstick skillets. Heavy and will make mincemeat out of any nonstick skillet.

The press should be seasoned several times before using to prevent sticking. It should be pre-heated with the skillet before adding the bacon. Once the bacon is done be careful when picking up the press to not burn your hand. The stanchions that support the handle are very hot and if you are not careful or have large hands, you will experience a burn when contacting them. I wish there was a protective barrier to avoid this. Overall, the press works quite well.

It's a cast iron work of art that is not only good for bacon! I've used it more to make smash burgers than anything else. It's so heavy and thick, and just the right size to press two burgers at once.Be sure to care for it like a cast iron pan, wash it, grease it afterwards with a spray. Great device.
