This was for a nine month old. It fit well, even the hat. It was comfortable and soft enough to move around in and to not irritate the skin.

My baby is 9 months old and has now outgrown it. I bought it two months ago and it did fit him at 7 months old. He's pretty average size for height and weight for his age. I loved the outfit though. We first used it for a Renaissance Fair, and just kept using it as a regular daily outfit because he was so comfy in it. The legs and hips are very snug though, and don't stretch so the snaps come unsnapped pretty easily with leg bending or squatting or crawling. I don't regret my purchase, I'm just sad it didn't fit my son for longer.

my cousin and her husband love the legend of zelda games and i bought this for their newborn son. the 6-9 month outfit may fit a younger baby, especially a heavier or longer baby. overall, better to go a size up right? they'll grow into it even if its a little big

It is a little snug, my son is in 6-9 month clothes, I'd suggest getting one size up. But even so it fits enough right now. The fabric is super soft and the snaps are extremely strong.

Bought this for my son, who was 3 months old at the time. It fit great and was a great costume for his first Halloween. The fabric doesn't have much if any stretch to it though.

Super cute and no loose threads or anything. I ordered a 9 to 12 month and it barely fits my not quite 6 month old! My lil man is very average for his age so I recommend ordering 2 sizes up.
