- In addition, check the locks and gates on all of your carabiners before using them as part of a suspension system,and always secure carabiners with the open side of the gate pointing down to discourage the locks from unscrewing during your climb.

I use this for saddle hunting and I haven't died yet so it must be working!I locks easily and quietlyFor those of you that are unfamiliar with saddle hunting. What you see in the picture above is just about all that is stopping me from falling 20 ish feel to the ground. I do personally use a prusik as failsafe but thankfully this carabiner has made sure I haven't needed to test my failsafe yet.Oh yeah for those curious I'm +/- 190 lbs plus some extra gear while climbing and this carabiner has not had any issues.

I work in the telecommunications industry as a tower technician. It’s critical that I have rated and dependable carabiners to do my job safely. These have a smooth action and are lightweight and feel great to use in the hand, with or without gloves. I’ve used mine in the rain and in freezing temperatures, and they hold up great. I’ve put hundreds of pounds on these and I trust my life to these, hanging hundreds of feet off the ground, and clipping my safety lanyard to these carabiners. I now own 7 of these and will continue to buy these as needed.

With this product I was looking for something to keep my keys on my belt. They do that and also I work at night and use a Ultra stinger light and this will hold that light perfectly while keeping my keys attached to my pants. I know this may sound weird to some people to use things for other purposes but I have done climbing before and when looking for something to keep my keys secured to my pants. I remembered climbing carabiners being able to lock so I looked around these were a good price and to have the parts double and be useful as more than 1 thing is always a plus.

No, nothing exciting, just making the point that they hold up well and have been tested by a big guy!They operate very smoothly, and lock which is a necessity. Also they are canted or angled to stay in position well, so your ropes don't tangle up on you or pop loose from the biner.These are not super cheap but maybe a little less than others, but they perform like they cost more, so makes the price a very good value.You will not be disappointed with the function or ability of these. They are worth the peace of mind and safety.

We put these at each tree stand we setup and they held up through the season (and likely many seasons to come!). Easy to use and seem to do the job. Fortunately didn't test their strength, but just by handling them it's obvious they will perform when needed. Only complaint is there is no way to choose the color. I was wanting the grey and gold color but got the blue, gold and red one. Not a big deal (function over form), but it would be nice to select the color or at least know you get what they send you.
