Fitment leaves so much to be desired. The pipe directly after the catalytic converter is not made correctly at all. I’m going to have to pay an exhaust shop to cut it, clock it and reweld it. It’s hanging so low on one end is going to drag and at the other end it’s touching the floorboard. I took off factory exhaust that was rusted off behind the resonator and the catalytic converter had holes rusted in it pointing at the floor and it was considerably quieter with that exhaust than with this exhaust. If you’re looking to be “locally hated” this is the exhaust for you!!!! The only thing getting it to two stars is I’m hoping even after paying an exhaust shop to redo the intermediate pipe and add a resonator it’ll still be cheaper than stock parts house replacement.

Thought I'd try a "performance style" exhaust on a 1.7 Honda Civic. Although my feelings are a mix of pros/cons about the results,I will say: The item received was not the one pictured but this was not an issue.This item arrived rusted at weld joints and on hangers out of the box, fit reasonably well with a spot or two of underside rub/knock,came with a removable 1-5/8" silencer pre installed,is ultra loud without silencer but car "chokes" on exhaust with silencer in.Although I won't be dyno-testing it runs best no silencer, I have actually lost HP due to restrictive silencer ( I upgraded to 2" silencer which helped alot) AND due to exhaust cooling too much in larger diameter tubing between engine and tailpipe. MORAL TO STORY: You get what you pay for but for $125 it's not a bad place to start learning about exhaust systems, does still look good on rear end of car, and sounds decent through provided silencer as long as your not starting up hills or in a hurry... TIP O' THE DAY: The real work is removing old exhaust w/o damaging existing manifold and cat.

Bought this for my 2003 Honda Civic Ex. I am quit impressed. Once I got the old exhaust off it took 20 minutes to install. Every hanger, every bend met perfect and sounds great! I highly recommend this exhaust.
