These are used in a school woodshop. They last for a lot longer than my 120 or 220 grit, almost about ten times longer.

These "Self Stick" sanding disks do not stick. They fly off the backing plate in matter of minutes. I made sure to apply them properly on a clean surface. I've run a workshop for many years, so familiar with tool prep and maintenance. Tried 4 of them, but same problem for all. I noticed immediately that the adhesive was not very "tacky," so suspect that these discs were very old causing the glue to dry out and harden over time. I can only assume when listed for sale, they had already surpassed their shelf life. Unfortunately, I purchase a bunch of them and the return date expired, so I'm stuck with them. Might try applying a thin layer of spray adhesive to remedy the problem. If not, they're headed to the dumpster.
