Folded for packaging but flattened out pretty well with a weight on it on flat surface. A couple creases were flattened a little more than necessary because box was crushed some by handling somewhere along the line. Still used with fingers crossed. Made out of a felt type paper. Holes lined up really well and shape was correct. 4 stars for misshandling and crushed box,

Worked out great, however this pan gasket is a 'fiber material' gasket, not like the thick rubber one that I took off of the truck . Check your pan corners for straightness and correct if necessary.Decided to put "the right stuff" RTV silicone on either side of the glasket then fitted the pan. No leaks, good product.

It's a good gasket. Fits most C6 and E4OD trannys from 1980-96.

I have an aftermarket transmission pan that wouldn't seal using the stock (reusable) gasket. This gasket sealed it up nicely.It is a rubber gasket, not cork, which is a good thing as it doesn't need a sealer. It does come folded up, so unpacking, unfolding and laying it out flat for a day is necessary. I have no complaints at all.
