Decent mount for the AT2040. I would give this closer to 4.75 if I could. It holds the mic well and absorbs the shock of movement well.Reason for decrease in stars is the clasp/tightener seems to loosen over time. Every once in a while I need to readjust the mic position and retighten.

I didnt 'dink' the product review for missing a pop-filter, which was missing from the box (which was not a concern since they are pennies apiece and I already have one).... so, the 5/5 relates only to the shock mount. It works perfectly fine for my home studio, which admittedly is built on a budget. The AT 2020 microphone I use fits perfectly in this. This shock mount is actually bigger than I thought, and is capable of handling larger microphones (I didnt measure it before purchase, but it wouldnt have changed my decision).I have never used a more expensive shock mount, so I cant compare it to something that would be considered professional or 'studio grade'.

Works perfectly. One time the nut came loose when I was messing with it but I just tightened it up and it's been fine ever since. If you're a 300lb body builder you could probably over tighten the plastic wing nuts and break it, so try not to do that.

الماونت قايم بالوظيفة بس المطاط ضعيف و مش مشدود و الخامة مش أحسن حاجه و خامة الفوم سيئة جدا للأسف .كمان القطعة الموضحة بالصورة اللي هي الAdapterمش متوفرة و مجتش مع الاوردر و اضطريت اطلب قطعة تعويضية من امازون للأسف .

Perfect fit. I use it with my at2040. I just had to remove the mount that it comes with. (Just unscrew it. Very simple). Everything fits perfectly. I will be ordering another mic and this set to go with it.

The shock mount was just a bit to big for my At2020, I used some tape on the mic and it holds.
