These cute curved dishes are a nice indulgence for people who love corn on the cob. If you use butter or any other sauce, you can roll the corn around and spread it evenly, unlike on a flat plate where the butter tends to slide off and spread out.I love to microwave corn in their husk, up to three at a time in a triangle arrangement. The corn steams in the husk without boiling away flavor, when you cut into the husk a bit at the bottom edge and grab the other end (with a towel if it's still too hot) to pull it down, you'll see all the silk just slide off like it's greased. I use 3-4 minutes per ear, rotating them along their axis once about halfway through. Do this once and you'll never boil corn again (unless you have a lot to make at once.)

Love these! I wanted to stop using plastic corn cob dishes as the cob is hot when you put them in the dishes thus there is microplastic contamination. So these ceramic ones are the perfect solution. And because they are ceramic they also hold the heat of the cob longer than plastic. They are a very attractive design and well made. Hefty enough to be stable. They come with good quality holders, which have the added benefit that each pair secures into each other, so the pairs stay together when stored, and you don't get poked with the sharp ends when handling.
