There are 3 versions of the Joey by Arrow Sewing. From the lack of description on Amazon I didn’t know which version I would be getting. When it arrived I saw on the box it was a Joey 2. It was easy to put together. It was nice that most of the hardware was already in the wood sections. The problem area was getting the drawers to close properly and getting the lock installed and working. It would be nice to have arrow stickers to show which pieces are the top side. The instructions were good with explanations that help tremendously. It is a nice 3 drawer cabinet that locks. It rolls nicely on medium pile carpeting. I have it next to my Arrow Sewing “Alice” sewing machine cabinet and it allows an extra work surface. I put an ironing pad and cutting mat on top of it to iron seams as I am sewing or to cut fabric as needed. It works out nicely for this. I like that all 3 drawers lock so I can put sharp tools away from small children. I do wish it was less expensive and affordable because this is a nice cabinet and I would like to buy more. I am very happy with this purchase. I like how it sits next to my Arrow Sewing “Alice” cabinet. This is a well thought out and sturdy cabinet.

I bought a Kangaroo sewing table and a Joey a few years ago. I wanted another Joey. Glad I was able to order one; however, this one is different. Looks the same but you need to use both hands to open the drawers, this can sometimes be a hassle. Also, the wheels do not lock in place, so when you are trying to open the drawers the entire cabinet moves. Yes, it is expensive; however, I like the fact I can have the entire set and still pay less than other brands for my sewing room. The site that sends it actually had it on back order, but they made it look like on Amazon that I received it on 4/2 when I actually did not receive it until 4/25. I understand delays and I was fine with that.

Be sure to check the dimensions. This is much smaller than I expected. Good piece of furniture, but I could have found something larger for the money.

Agree with first review. A cabinet that costs this much and is made of laminated loose particle board ( I have seen better quality particle board in furniture that costs 1/10th as much as this one) ought to come at least partially assembled.I suppose the 2 little tubes of wood glue that are enclosed are worth something for the trouble and hours that it takes to put it together. No problem with the seller. The product just is what it is.

Assembly was more difficult than expected and I have put lots of furniture together. The price was more than a product you need to assemble should cost. The top drawer will not close completely and therefore the front of the cabinet looks crocked.
