Can’t really speak for the durability since I just got them. Put a pretty good load on them, about 100W and didn’t see a drop. Definitely happy with these.

I used this with the Armacost LED tape (120 LED/m) and Lutron Maestro dimmers with great success. Being an electrician, I was a little sceptical at first.I mounted the driver in a 12x12x4 N1 J-box where I had some extra space. I got a little creative and did the whole kitchen with the one driver. I read some reviews where people had issues with longer runs, but I never had any, even though one run was a little long.I did split the load in half so it was balanced between the two legs of the driver. Over all very happy...

Great product, will buy again. Power leads for both 12v and 120v were slightly short and made installation options a little limited.

I installed it for my under cabinet LED strip light. It was easy to install. I am using about 70% of it's power and it is controlled by a wall switch without a dimmer. It is barely warm after a few hour of work. The switching time is not even noticable by an eye. The only minus is it's size, it is quite bulky.

I did a project of using this transformer with 24' of Armacost 120-LED ribbon. I like the fact that this comes made with two sets of outputs since it is highly recommended by the manufacturers to put the transformer in the middle of the run, not at one end. So that was great. What's not so great is that this transformer is burning hot after just a couple of minutes. I'm not comfortable having this directly against wood so I am trying to rig something up. If I had known that, I would not have gone in this direction at all. Also, I set this up to light a sloped ceiling indirectly (replacing hidden flourescents) and even 24' of 120-LED ribbon is not as bright (luminous) as I expected. For all this work, I have a ribbon and a transformer which get crazy hot right away. I wouldn't do ribbon lighting again for anything other than 8 feet of undercabinet.
