This looks great but plan to glue it up because it’s not gonna hold without gluing or nailing it.

Shipped rolled up. As a result, the ends are too curled. It won't lie flat. I had to screw the top and clamp the bottom to get it to stay flat. And since it's thick rubber, bending it tight around the corners of the beam was also not possible. I had to cut it in 3 separate pieces and glue each piece. It doesn't look as nice had I been able to apply it properly. The imitation white oxidation, or whatever it is in the pics, isn't on what you get. It's all black. Why be so deceptive? Show an accurate representation of what's being sold. Too bad because similar products don't have the white and it would make this unique from everything else out there. And be advised you don't get much. I wanted the cover the center and 2 ends of the beam but only had enough for the center and 1 end, so I didn't do the 1 end because it would've looked dumb with only 1 end with the strapping and not the other.Quite expensive for what you get. The profit margin must be huge.

Installed these on seams of u-beam on 14 foot ceiling. At that height they look good! Forget using F-26 ( it may hold everything else but it doesn’t adhere to these rubber straps). Just grab a partner, one hold and stretch the strap and the other put black screws in it. We can’t see the screws. I read the bad reviews prior to purchasing about how they don’t conform etc. I feel some people expect too much from faux products, they should spend 3 times as much and buy iron, heat it up, hammer and bend it around your beam, then use a blow torch to cut holes in it, then drill holes in your wood to bolt the iron straps to. Come on folks. I will post pictures later. As I said, it looks good and I haven’t seen anything affordable that would look any better! You may be able to research what adhesive will work on tire rubber and then be able to remove screws after the adhesive fully cures, remember you are working against gravity.

I would recommend this product over any other similar faux beam straps. Flexible enough to wrap around a square beam and look good at the corners. Look very similar to metal strap. The only problem I've found is that the maximum length you can purchase is 41".

Using as a medieval-themed accent and to cover a seam. This was easy to cut and to attach with construction adhesive. I did dry brush with some silver metallic paint to accent the edges and hand-wrought irregularities. Won't be mistaken for actual iron on inspection, but achieves the right look with casual observation.

It serves its purpose and looks ok but it definitely doesn’t have the faded distressed look like the picture of it. It is solid black with no distressed looking grey color in it at all..

Solved a problem for us in our design and worked great. Product was sturdy enough, and created the antique metal look we were aiming for.
