Your cart is empty.Aqueon Foam Cleaning Pads are a great option to scrub unwanted buildup from any aquarium. The pads work on both glass and acrylic aquariums to remove the buildup from the aquarium walls. The special micropore structure improves cleaning ability over standard polyester pads and sponges. For use with Aqueon ProScraper 3.0 Short and Adjustable Aquarium Scrapers with the use of the Twist & Click Head attachment that is sold separately. To add or remove Foam Cleaning Pad from scraper head, attach pad using the blue polyester side and sticking one end to the black Velcro on one side of the head. Bend the pad to curve around the top of the head and attach the other end of pad to black Velcro on opposite side. It can also be used without a scraper. Use the blue polyester pad for hard scrubbing and micropore foam side for soft scrubbing.

This thing is giant, I should have looked at the measurements prior to ordering. The scraper is nice…But…the scraper part has a tendency of falling off, which makes it extremely frustrating when really trying to deep clean and it falling off in the tank, making it a hand retrieval….not my favorite but does eventually get the job done.

It's really not that good, i expected way more from Aqueon. If i could return it i would! My tank doesn't build up an unremovable amount of algae but it does get some spots here and there and this cleaner still struggled to remove the algae. It's way too bulky as well. I found the whole design impractical.

I never thought a sponge and a piece of plastic would need in structuring but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to attach the sponge to the holder. The most logical way of wrapping it around just causes the sponge to tear.

I've tried the magnets and the mitts and the scrapers. All scratch my glass over the years. Not sure why these are better, but I threw all my old glass cleaners in the trash. These are so easy to use as a sponge and finally I am getting the algeae that grew in the scratches from the mitts. I don't use any attachment, just role up my sleeves. I can clean the whole 60 gal without spilling a drop on my hard wood floors.

While the adjustable handle is great for my 55 gallon tank, the blade went dull after about four uses.

The metal blade is just a thick pease of metal not actual blade it barely works, and have to put a lot pf force into it which is not idealI’ll be returning it
