B-Grade Mystery Snail shells may have minor damage or calcification, but are otherwise perfectly healthy. Color assortment possibilities include blue, black (typically dark brown shell with a dark body), purple, golden yellow, ivory white, and albino (brown shell with a white body). Mystery Snails serve as both colorful aquarium decorations and useful fish tank clearers! They consume uneaten fish food, plus they wipe off tank glass, aquarium plants, decorations. Additionally, they will reduce the aquarium green effect. These peaceful invertebrates grow up to 3 inches in diameter and are safe with any nonaggressive live fish, shrimp, or plants (such as java moss, ludwigia, etc.). Compared to other freshwater snails, Mystery Snails are characteristically more active and can often be found scaling aquarium walls, extending their antennae in search of food, and climbing up the aquarium pump to the water line to breathe in oxygen. Because of this, ensure the water line in your aquarium is low enough or keep a tank hood in place so your Mystery Snails cannot escape. We often ship smaller sized (.25 to 1.5 inches) snails so you can enjoy them longer and watch them grow. A young Mystery Snail can double in size over the course of two weeks to months. NOTE: Contrary to what some websites state, Mystery Snails are NOT the same species as Apple Snails. Apple Snails are an illegal species to own in the United States. Our Mystery Snails do not grow to the tremendous size that Apple Snails do (often as big as an apple).

I ordered 3 snails, I received 4 healthy and alive. They took some time to come out and start moving around. The seller was very helpful in the communications and very responsive! The snails colors were all different and all around the same size. I am very happy with the purchase and communication with the seller. Would buy again!

Ordered 5, got 6 very healthy snails. They arrived properly packaged and in great condition. Only took them about 30 minutes to an hour to start moving all around. Very happy with my new little friends!

Not super excited. The photos indicate that you'll be getting something a little more colorful, although you can't choose what colors, but I received 5 tiny, Black snails. I had ordered these because of the colors, I was hoping to add some color to my tank, but I guess I'll just have 5 black snails in my betta tank now. Very disappointed in this purchase. Edited to add, it's been 3 days now and 3 of my 5 snails seem to be dead. Maybe in the next day or two that shall change...been a week and yes I can confirm 3 of 5 are dead.... I guess the jokes on me.
