It works somewhat but it makes the evaporator freeze up. Replaced with a Mopar valve and it worked fine.

Purchased for a 2012 Ram 1500 with a 4.7L engine. The original repair was for a leaking heater core but because that requires removal of the dashboard and HVAC box, it's false economy not to also replace the AC evaporator and expansion valve.I mated this to a Spectra brand AC evaporator. It is a perfect fit, no leaks, and identical to the OEM valve which could only be sourced through a dealership for a much higher price.
