After reading reviews of different handguards on a few sites, they all basically rated the same. Same complaints with install and protection, or lack of. So, I decided to go with the budget friendly ones that look pretty good.So far I am pretty happy with them. The install was pretty straigh forward after clipping a few ties and drilling out the plastic insert in the right or throttle bar end. I took a razor knife and cut a nickle sized puka on the hand grips. Also super simple. They seem semi solid and def will add protection. I'm so tired of replacing clutch and brake pulls... I did do a mild drop the other eve with zero damage. That made me pretty darn happy. Now I can rest better when my son's borrow my/moms xt250 to ride the island trails. May consider a pair for my scl500 and rv200. They just make good protection sense.

These are well made and sturdy. When I received these one piece of hardware was missing. I called Amazon and they shipped me out a new set for nothing and they said no need to ship back the original set. Now I have extra parts in case it’s even needed. Thank you Amazon

If you don't mind wasting money on a copy that isn't strong or safe this is your go to. Amazon doesn't care what is sells and it sells more and more of this crap. Don't waste your money of your going to actually ride your bike and hope these save your hands. Screws stripped while mounting and the hardware that goes into the bars doesn't work and had to be modified. Get the real deal. These are goi g to get some one hurt when they wanted protection. Shame on you for selling these and ripping people off.

Figured I would try and save a few bucks, buy a cheap set of guards. Plan on upgrading bars soon so thought this would get me by until I decide on what I really want to run.Waste of time and money. Listed to fit my bike (TW200). Bar end bolts do not expand enough to fit in bar ends, expander nut is too small. Clamps do not fit at all, over or under factory cross brace without serious modification. Attempting to make them fit will result in butter soft aluminum threads stripping out and deformation of clamp base. Plastic "bushings" are not actually round. The heads of the bolts will deform when trying to tighten parts.I see some people have had luck installing these, maybe I got a bad set. I wonder if the ones that got them to fit will actually survive a small tumble? I seriously doubt it after working with the super soft parts and fasteners I will pay more for real parts. Now I have to drive to town to return, will not allow me to return with the carrier that delivered the parts.

They are okay if you aren't trail riding. If you drop your bike they will bend. The aluminum is very soft. If just for branches they work.

The big name brands get 3,4 even 5 times what these cost and I cannot see what more you get for paying $100.00 more, except a name. As I prefer to keep my DR 650 devoid of advertising stickers, I like that these are unmarked. The blue color of the handguards is an excellent match to the factory blue fenders on my bike, and the blue aftermarket poly tank I installed. They look really great and are made just as well as the Barkbusters I put on my KLR.

Believe the many other reviews which mention how soft this metal is (making it way to easy to bend). The hand guards offer little protection as they bend with such little force. They need to use a harder metal alloy.Otherwise, they do fit okay and look decent. If you ride off-road, don't bother with these. Spend more $ and get brand name hand guards like Cycra.

Bought these for XT250. Fit perfectly and hardware much better than Acerbis. Right on par with Cycra. Look great and lots of room for handles.

What's to say, these hand guards are extremely east to mount to the stock 2022,TW 200. All you need do is to cut the ends off the rubber grips, insert the expansion bolt, and place the clamps on the handlebars. I had to remove the cable tie wraps to move cables a bit but not an issue. Keep in mind that the throttle grip has a plastic insert that will need to be drilled out to allow the expansion bolt into the handlebar.

Fit great on an XR650R. Got hit by a couple of large branches and took the hit. So far no complaints.
