This is great! Simply love these. Ya gotta get one! Are quality made. Strong. Adhesive sticks to the surface so dont have to worry about spilling my coffee at the computer anymore. This is a reorder. I got one for several family members during the holiday. They loved them and used them constantly. yes, makes a great gift. If you drink coffee on a work desk, this is a must to prevent any chance of spills. It really makes a great gift. Once they use it, they will be thanking and thinking of ya.

Sitting at my desk I have a table next to it that I put my drinks on. The problem is that I don't usually use glasses that don't sweat, so there's always a puddle of condensation on the table that I have to wipe off. I got this drink holder so the condensation would be contained in the bottom of the holder and wouldn't ruin my desk. I knew going into buying it that it has adhesive on the bottom so that it'll stay put, but I didn't want to ruin my table and I chose to not use the adhesive part so can't rate that aspect. But even without using the adhesive it's a solid piece and doesn't move around on the table so it still works, and it fits all kinds of sizes of glasses and mugs. If they would change the adhesive to felt bottom or even silicone it would make it a 5 star product. I think most people wouldn't want to ruin a piece of furniture with the adhesive. I'm sure it's good for some applications, just not mine.

I use this to set a drink next to me on the couch, and it's been pretty good for that.The swiveling bits that are meant to adjust the size of container it'll hold snugly are a little wonky, so I just open them up to the largest opening, and leave it at that.I like to be able to set a can, or my coffee mug down next to me, and not have it spill.

Permanent tape added to bottom, so you cannot used it in all places, once adhered, there is no moving it anywhere else!
