I started using this little item a year ago and it has solved my problem of clogging the charging port with dust, lint, sawdust, etc. It is now very easy for me to remove and plug back in and it stays put through a rugged work day. I still have the first one I started with, so have several backups if it is ever lost.Update 05/22/2024After 4 1/2 years I still have the original I started with plus the extras, except for the 2 I gave to friends. No problem with clogged charging port all this time, unlike before. Very pleased with this item!

Generell ist das Produkt schon recht gut. Wer ein iPhone hat, der kennt sicherlich den Lightning Anschluss welcher übermäßig dreck sammelt. Bei mir kam hinzu, dass der dreck Wasser gezogen hatte und damit die Kontakte des Abschlusses Brücke. Das führt zu einer permanenten Vibration.Mir ging es also primär um die Stopfen. Top ist, dass davon einige dabei sind. Die ersten habe ich immer irgendwo liegen lassen, weil ich das Telefon laden musste und dann vergaß das dieser Stopfen entfernt werden musste. Sitzt aber gut bündig im Anschluss!

Although I apparently have other issues with my phone instead of dirt, etc. in my phone, the product appears to work well.

Cover on my cell phone charging port broke and had to take phone in for cleaning as dirt got into the port. Ordered these rubber covers to prevent dirt getting in exposed area. They are very small and my only advise would be to design them with some kind of a tab to make it easier to put in and take out when charging the phone. But I was happy to find them as they are hard to find in stores.

Don’t purchase these. Waste of 7$ it’s not a lot of money but it’s still not worth it. I gave 5 stars for being easy to remove because they remove themselves. The ports randomly fall off. I put two ports on my phone, and both of those didn’t even last me a full 24 hours. The first fell off within 4 hours and not sure when the second one fell cause I didn’t notice until I wanted to charge my phone. That’s when I realized there wasn’t anything there.You get a few in the pack but I’m sure the whole pack won’t even last 1 week. Want a refund but I lost 2 of them already so I’ll just consider it a loss and look for a different brand. Which I recommend for anybody looking to purchase these. Pay the extra cash for a better one cause you’ll end up paying more when you lose all the port covers.

This kit is thoughtfully assembled with three useful tools made of plastic. This kit is likely meant for folks that want something disposable, but after cleaning two pretty dirty iPhone 5s (latest iteration) and two iPad Airs, I am still able to use all the tools again in the future. There are no metal parts to the tools to worry about. The port plugs fit very well and are easy to remove. You could get away with placing tape on to the plug and let it hang out to the side if you are careful. There are 12 plugs, so you can lose a few along the way. Another inexpensive (not cheap) made in China product that is useful and well made. It will help keep your ports clean and not clean out your wallet. I’d buy it again and highly recommend it to friends.

The plugs do what they are designed to do BBC and the supplies do help keep the port clean. The only problem is there is no easy storage for the plug while charging. I think of the three of us I got these for two of us list our plugs the day after using them and the third lost hers a few days later. There are more plugs but I think they are still in the supply drawer with the cleaner kit.I would think for more focused and particular people these would be a great help. Not so much for my family. They were as described and a great value. It just came down to not being a product that made sense for my family.

The plugs were not very well fitted. The brushes and cleaners worked great but the plugs had no resistance to them so they fell out VERY easily with little to no contact with any other surface. 3/5 stars because 2.5 isn’t an option.

I get a lot of dirt in my charger port from working outside. These have been great at cleaning out the port, when my phone wouldn’t charge. It’s also great to have to inserts in the port to keep out dirt, If you don’t have to charge your phone continuously throughout the day. The port inserts are small, and could get lost, or be a pain, if you are constantly having to put it in and out. I just leave one in all day, and my phone doesn’t need charging until I’m home at night.

What I got wasn't much like in the photo. The plugs are a very loose fit, and they the end that goes in the lightning port aren't curved like the picture shows, but straight.The little swabs look like they could be useful, but a bit much to spend for just those.
