The paddle has a hook to grab a dock, tree, etc. As well as, a notch to dislodge a hook from an obstruction. The imprinted ruler on the shaft is great for measuring your catch. Conveniently, the paddle separates for storage and locks together securely for use.

This paddle is really well constructed, wish there were some more color choices. Carbon looks and feels quality, awesome hook on paddle. Why spend hundreds on a paddle for no reason

Awesome paddle..definitely quality made and great price...it is light weight and the shaft feels real rigid and strong.

Hi quality but a unexpected problem. When paddling in a grassy or around sticks or brush this thing grabs and doesn’t let go. Makes for a very treacherous trip.

This paddle works great. Fits good in yours hands. Even used the hook on the side to get my line out of a tree. Worked great

I was looking for a lightweight yet inexpensive paddle for saltwater fishing and I believe I've found it. I've taken it out several times now and it's perfect for how I use it. The paddles are strong enough to withstand the oyster bars and help my kayak glide across the water with ease. The hooks on the end has let me retrieve line when it's snagged on the born. I love that it has the measurement directly on it so I don't have to bring my measuring bored. It floats very well in the water. I did add some tape around the handle because it can be a little rough. All in all it's a good paddle. Highly recommend.
