Needed wider opening pliers good grip good price Only 4 cause - description says has centered hole. No hole - still worked well with crosshatching on contact area, till that wears - maybe.

I needed this tool for snap ring installations. The grippy external edges help to grab the ends of the rings then I can squeeze them open, making it easy to install the snap ring. GOLD DEER provides an excellent product at a good value. Fast shipping is a bonus!

They are good quality plyers but the tip of them are to big to use them on most snap rings inside of transmissions. So I would'nt recommend them for any transmission repairs. Which is what I was buying them for

Sturdy little tool. Used mine for snap rings on a few bicycle cogs and it turned a 10-15 fight into 25 secs of work. Great price too
