This clipper blade was dull right out of the package. I could not cut through any of my dogs freshly washed hair.

Exactly what you want in a blade. It arrived well oiled so was ready to fit straight on the clippers. Nice and sharp. Appears to be a high quality steel so should last for years.Easy to change on my Andis clipper so I would assume the same for compatible brands.Can be sent off to be re-sharpened when needed. There are several firms providing this service.Good value for money. Definitely not worth wasting your money on unknown brands when you can purchase the brand preferred by many professional dog groomers, for only a couple of quid more. You only have to look at the high number of poor reviews against the cheap ones to see the sense in buying better. As I expect the cheap blades and clippers are all bought by DIY groomers like me, if they are failing after a couple of months then can only have been used a handful of times.This Andis blade will last for years for us DIY groomers making it good value for money.

Used in combination with the new clipper I purchased this is just the perfect blade for my mini poodle/Bernese. She has a curly but very dense coat and this blade cuts through it with ease. Solid and well made. Worth the investment.

This blade cut through my golden doodle’s fur like butter. I have tried several pairs of clippers including sheep clippers. I finally found the right clippers and the right blade for the job. The skip tooth is perfect for his curls and fluff. I will go over it with a finishing blade after I bathe, dry and comb him out. He looks the best he ever has! I oiled it well throughout the cut to keep it cutting smooth. I also shop vacuumed it after the cut to ensure it wasn’t gummed up with hair.

I bought these for grooming my Labradoodle...They're great, they dont give the 'shaved' look as higher number blades do, nice finish and my dog still has his curl effect to him!

I bought this looking for something to cut my Shih tzus hair. I have tried the combs that go over the blade and they didnt work! The blade that came with the clippers would cut her hair but it was so short it left her with a rash. I tried a normal half inch cutting blade and couldnt even get it through her hair. The skip tooth blade works fantastic! It gets down in the hair and cuts it with very little effort. The blade doesnt leave a perfectly smooth finish but if you needed that it would be very easy to go over the hair a second time with a normal blade. I was happy with just the skip tooth blade.
