This is a great pair of skates for beginners. The skates are true to the size and easy to put on. One thing I noticed the blade is not sharpened, it is not a problem for beginners like me, I can skate without issues. The only thing I wish is that it would come with a skate carrier or something. This is not a deal breaker, just something good to have.

This deserves zero stars! Do not buy! You will break your ankles! They are wonky, and do not get tight enough around your ankles to skate well. The price tells you everything. They look like a cute pair of skates, but once you’re on the ice, there is zero support.

Not worth for the price. It has low quality.I preferred to buy a pair of second hand shoes with this price.

Los patines estas bonitos y muy cómodos, el tallar viene un poco amplio, son patines totalmente recreativos. Por su precio y para usar de ves en cuando están perfectos para su precio.

Been using these skates for four winters now and they're still in great condition! Durable, comfortable. Perfect for beginner to medium level skaters. Easy maintenance. Make sure you take care of the blade when you're not using the skates. Cover the blade in oil for winters, to preserve the metal. I didn't do that for my first summer after getting the skates, so the blades rusted and I had to sharpen them at a skating rink for $20 (which is half the price of the skates, so a huge waste of money). If you take care of the blades, always wipe them clean after using, store in good conditions, and preserve them in oil for the winter, you'll be very happy with the purchase. Do recommend!

This review is difficult for me to write but will try to concentrate on what people would want to know about the skate itself. It is as the title indicates. I also took them to be sharpened at Dick's Sporting Goods for $5.00 (seems to be the going rate where I am). So, when the day came when we could all get together and go skating at a popular outdoor rink for all ages... mainly part time skaters not really into serious skating... I was feeling somewhat nostalgic and [obviously overconfidant]. I had taken ice skating lessons when I was somewhere around 11 -12 years old. Nothing fancy, although was able to easily skate backwards, do simple spins, lets's just say several decades ago. So, I do no blame the skates at all for the fact that besides never having been on an outdoor rink before, I didn't even make it around one time before I fell and broke my leg. So..... I really can only recommend that if you're not at least a RECENT somewhat experienced skater - I don't mean a fancy ice dancer or anything like that - just that you're used to the feel of the ice under your skate... Please start out SLOW, stay close to the edge... and be careful. Other than that snag, I think they seem like they would have been great fun and a good value for the money. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I really didn't have a chance to properly try them out.

I just moved to an area where I have access to an ice skating rink (which just happens to be one of my favorite wintertime activities) and decided it would be worth it to invest in my own pair of skates. The first time I wore them I was expecting to have to wear them in a little for better comfort however, I did not. They were so comfortable on the first wear! I am typically a half size so I went with the 7 as opposed to 7 1/2. They are a little roomy in the toes but for ice skating I double up on socks so it is not an issue.Plus they look so classy. I'm all about that.

I bought these skates after I enrolled my daughters in a recreational ice skating class. They are both beginners and soon advised how much they loathed the free rental skates that came with the class. I also loathed trying to lace the freebies with their variety of lace knots and broken tabs.I wasn't planning on buying them skates until I ran across these AA522 skates on Amazon. $33? are you kidding? I thought to myself. However, the reviews were very positive so I ordered two pairs. One size 7 for my size 6.5 wearing daughter, and one size 8 for my size 7.5 wearing daughter. When the skates arrived I was very pleased to hear both of my daughters agree that the initial fit was very comfortable, and had a little room to spare. Perfect! But how would they be on the ice?Our experienced ice skater friends advised how their rather expensive leather skates would initially put blisters on their kids feet until they were broken in. That in mind, I told the kids that their cheapie skates were likely to give them blisters too, and to be prepared. They have now skated three times on them and couldn't be happier. No blisters, and they are raving about how comfortable they are. Most importantly they immediately skated better!I don't know how long these will last, but they seem to be well made. For $33 I don't expect them to be legacy hand-me-downs! If we get a full season out of them I will feel like we obtained a super bargain. However, I suspect that the girls will grow out of them before they are even close to wearing out.Buy these skates with confidence. I offer my highest recommendation.
