This NVR requires a hard-wired connection directly to your router to operate. Supports all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras and limited compatibility with third-party brand compliant IP cameras. This is a 16CH NVR, and has no PoE Ports. You can add an additional PoE switch will be needed for adding additional PoE cameras to your system. (Recommended Amcrest Switch ASIN B08FCT1CXB)

I have Reolink Cameras and I bought a Reolink NVR but that device never worked well. After a frustratimg month of trying to get it to work I researched and found Amcrest should work with Reolink cameras using ONVIF. So my first stop for electronics is always Amazon Refurbished. They had this unit and I purchased it. As an Amazon Prime member I expect to get Prime shipping but m first clue this wasn't all it was cracked up to be was that it took 5 days for me to receive it. It came in an Amazon box. Inside was a bashed in manufacturers box, badly taped shut. The unit was missing a screw for the cover (I had one that worked). The unit was very dusty and dirty. The unit was still configured with a prior configuration and it was not factory reset. No matter what I tried the unit would not factory reset. I was very disappointed with Amazon for selling this as refurbished when it seemed all they did was slap on a sticker and label it as refurbished.

I returned the first one. This is only barely usable. The design is for quick setup, but it has trouble detecting the cameras on my system.After a month of trying daily, I have a usable display of my WiFi and wired cameras. The fan has been a big noise in my bedroom, so I bought and installed a timer to shut off during sleeping hours, otherwise I could not use it.

Love that this security DVR has remote viewing, easy to setup phone app, and DVR support through a web browser, making saving clips and viewing a breeze. And to get a 16 channel poe DVR at this price range, fantastic!Easy to setup and mantain.
