Wife wanted a sit down potty for camping. Was considering a much less expensive privacy shelter option. Was grateful that I did not take the cheaper road this time. This one does not show silhouettes at night when a light is on inside like the cheap ones. This one has plenty of space up top, where your arms are at when showering or changing clothes, the cheap ones narrow down at the top and are very restricted. This stood up amazingly well in the high winds that we experienced and the rains. It is hard to fold up and takes a few people to put it back into it's case. I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend.

Got this for a friend in a wheelchair for doing all things private, including delivering IV meds and changing clothes and having a bath. She travels and cannot go to public places of any kind, so needed a way to get privacy while on the road. She has used this inside the house for a bath in the kitchen, on the deck to work in the shade, and on trips to use the loo and change clothes. This absolutely does the job, with two exceptions.I wanted a pop-up without a bunch of poles (this is), that had light (this has a “skylight”), that can be secured (this has stakes, that do need to be used if possible), that had air (this does), that has a pocket for “stuff” (this does), that had a separate tarp for the bottom (this does) and did NOT have a built-in bottom (this does not) which does nothing but collect dirt that has to be shaken out, and that can be kept warm with a heater (this can), but not too hot in the sun (the white exterior reflects light). I wanted a way for her to keep stuff and coolers etc. out of the sun and rain as well. This does it all.The exceptions:1. The rim at the bottom prevents a wheelchair from rolling in, BUT you can press it down with your foot, or keep it down with two garden pins to let a wheelchair over the transom. It’s light enough to drop over a wheelchair, too.NOTE TO MANUFACTURERS AND DESIGNERS: PLEASE make a pop-up tent like this that allows for wheelchair access!!! Please? This would be useful to people using walkers, too!2. Please make one with a flap that can be opened by someone in a wheelchair. This requires the flap to be rolled up and secured high — and the snap loop is functional but too small to be extra easy to use so please make the loop longer. If it was a side flap, it could be pulled to the side and managed by someone in a walker or wheelchair by themselves.3 (true for all pop ups): Someone in a wheelchair cannot put this up herself. It will require help.TIPS:To provide shade over the top with or without the rain cover, cut a piece of landscape fabric to drape over the top and connect it to the four corner cords with a large safety pin (not as a pin but as a “ring”).Pay attention to how you unfold it the first time so you have an idea of how to fold it back again.Cut a piece of mosquito net to drape over the front so you can keep the front “door” open to let light in without the bugs.Set it up right away outside so you’re familiar with it, and adjust the lines so they are where you’d want them in actual use.Cut several pieces of tarp for underneath for various purposes: so you can stake them down if you need to, use new ones while old ones are in the “to be cleaned” pile, and jerry rig one so it can be secured UP against the tent and under a tent fly so rain doesn’t get in from under.Get a large lightweight tarp with grommets to cover the top like a rain fly and be able to stake it away from the tent and over any ground tarp.Get some big butterfly hair clips so those with compromised strength can keep things secure, like the flaps and nets.

This tent is awesome. It has lots of room inside and sets up pretty fast. I only have two issues with it but still giving it a 5 star.Inside the tent it’s very cool and the material is very thick. I am currently camping in Wyoming and have experienced 10-20 mph gusts and the tent is holding up. I have attached heavier duty stake poles and attached the string attachments to each corner. Without these added attachments this tent will blow over. Also it’s kinda a pain to get back in the bag but once you figure it out it’s not bad. This tent is super roomy, very light, easy to set up and appears to be excellent material. It’s only been through one use but so far it’s highly recommended.Update, after many camping trips the utility tent is still in great condition and holding up great

This shelter is very tall. Lots of headroom and I'm 6'2". Also very wide, lots of elbow room or would be adequate for an adult with a small child. It's lightweight. Add those up and it's a big sail in the wind. Plus, it tries to fold itself up if you let it. Three ways to anchor: 1. Stakes at the bottom 4 corners for both the separate floor tarp and shelter at the same time, 2. Four bags they provide for sand, rocks or weights at each corner, 3. Guy line strings from mid-height of shelter to staked out pegs. Eight pegs provided so in case of a windstorm, can do shelter corners and guy lines. Stakes are marginal, but better than coat hanger as a review said. Likely will bend if you hit a rock while hammering in.Top is open mesh. Rain cover marginally covers mesh. It's clear thick plastic like the pouches blankets sometime come in. It attaches easily to shelter using plastic hooks connected to cover with elastic which are hooked to loops in the four top corners of shelter. You will never figure out how to fold this from the written instructions and pictures. Watch the video, which you need to pause every two seconds to see what is being done because they did it in high speed. The trick is that once you fold it flat and then clip the long sides together, you are trying to make the middle section, i.e. the part between the clips, change sides so that you've formed a double hour glass, like an ant's body. Then fold in the loops on the ends into the middle to form a single hoop. Wow, that's not clear. LOL Watch the video. I really like that such a big shelter folds up so small.I knocked off a star because of the thin stakes, funky rain cover, not stable without staking, and it's white. Really white. Like a fridge, but bigger. Light up the campground white. Green would blend in better. I guess it will be off-white soon since other reviewers said it shows dirt like crazy and I believe it will.Full disclosure is that I've only setup and torn down the shelter in my living room. Will see how it works in the wilderness this weekend.

We use this shelter for many things. Mostly for our portable shower when we go hunting. We have used it for our porta-potty as well. It is well made and easy to set up. It stands up well to a medium wind storm. When someone is using it with a light you cannot see their shadow from the outside. There is even a little mesh bag up high to hold your shampoos or toilet paper. If you follow the directions it is easy to fold up and put in its handy bag. After a time or 2 you won't need the directions any more.
