Extra insulation for sleep bag works fine

I have used these for years as an alternative to blow up mattresses. Granted, Im blessed not to be a picky sleeper. They don't last forever but I get my money's worth out of them and get about 2500-3000mi of use between using it as a sit pad on trail & traveling, nap pad, lunch pad and sleeping pad on trail.*Note: This one is so light it will not register weight on my hanging luggage scale so I cannot confirm the oz but feels about 2-3oz which is crazy light. I have another car sunshade I use when wanting more r value but it's 9oz. This one is the way to go for ultralight and ultra fast. Nothing to blow up and nothing to pop like thermarest zlite does in the desert. I've known ppl who lost their expensive blow up pads in the 1st 100mi and that's no worry with this pad or any reflective one.

Performance was good with this. Acted as it should on a cold wet camp. But I would say it is a bit expensive for what it is.

I am a cold sleeper when I backpack , and will be doing some winter camping over the next few years. For personal reasons do not use down, so a synthetic sleeping bag with a very low temp rating can be very heavy. So, I am opting for a 20 degree quilt with some other measures to make the bag warmer. And this is one of them. This will cover most of the floor of my one person z packs alta tent, keeping the heet from me escaping through the tent floor. Plus it will help keep my airmattress protected , or at least decrease the risks of punctures through floor tent. Perfectly sized with finished edges. Will say the storage sack it came with would be great for storage if except for one thing. There was tape wrapped all around it holding some sort of labeling onto the bag, and when you remove the tape, it left what is probably permanent sticky residue all over the storage sack, which is something the seller may want to consider not doing. The sack does not seem like it would hold up to a washing machine...lol...but the mat itself, perfect, just what I was wanting.
