I am not unfamiliar with the quality of Allen gun cases. I bought one years ago for my Ruger .44 magnum carbine that I bought in 1963. The workmanship has not changed, its as good as it ever was. This time I bought the gun case for a brand new Ruger 10/22 75th Anniversary with a scope which just happens to be the baby brother of the 44 magnum carbine. Side by side the look identical. Just two notes on this, the description didn't mention that the case was for a scoped rifle so I relied on the photo and I was right. The other note is I would have given this review 6 STARS if they had embroidered the Ruger name and crest on the case instead of just printed it with black ink.

I have one just like this for my 10/22… I put the rifle in zipped it up and the decals started coming off.Not areal big deal but I bought this bag because it had Ruger 10/22 on it….now it’s just like any other bag.
