Ignore all the reviews of people who incorrectly bought this to test N95. If you know what it's for, it works great. I was able to successfully leak test prototype respirator parts with this, and even found 3M's exhaust valve to not be completely perfect. Will definitely buy more when I run out.

These test capsules are excellent for brightening up a room with the aroma of bananas. Easy to use, just crush an ampule, wave it around, and waft in the sweet smell.Also, and not unimportantly, these can be used to qualitatively assess the fit of a filtering face piece respirator. I’ve used these to verify the acceptability of N95s and P100s and the unacceptably of counterfeit KN95s. The fit of a respirator is very tricky and subtle changes make the difference between forming a seal and air leaks, these help identify those air leaks.

This is meant for organic vapor testing for industrial applications. Standard N95 fit test for medical application will fail with this test.

I bought this hoping to fit test for N95 respirators, not well labeled in description- it is ONLY for filter cartridge containing respirators. Used for protecting against vaporous chemical exposures, not viruses and other medical needs. Even with fully sealed N95, the banana odor is noticeable. Excellent, strong smell. Easy to use. Unfortunately not what i need, but seems like a solid product!

Purchased for medical N95 testing and all failed. Learned later that it is industrial strength and not meant to test medical respirators. Bummer.

Hot too much to say... it is what it is...Used for OSHA compliance. Better to get these than to buy a big vial of oil that expires.
