I did not use it for plants. It worked out like I wanted it to. One corner split a little as I put the wheels on but it was still useable and worked out fine.

They look good and work fine but they cracked when I screwed the wheels on. I had to glue the cracks

I needed to be able to slide my plants under the awning during storms. These stands can hold my heavy plants and they roll nicely over my uneven deck slats. It was a bit challenging to assemble; it was tough to get the screws in the pre-drilled holes. But they're really good! May order another set!

Putting on the first wheel and the screw wasn’t even all the way secured and the wood cracked. Very cheaply made.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I took a chance and placed an order for the unfinished plant caddies anyway. It took me awhile before putting these together, but when I did I was really pleased how easy these were to put the wheels on. Not only were all the pre-drilled holes in correct placement for the wheels, but there were a total of 8 extra screws. The detail on these caddies was unexpected. The wood slats have their edges rounded off and are extremely smooth. But the real surprise ... on the underside, any indentations left from the joining process were filled in with wood putty. ON THE UNDERSIDE. I was impressed with how much better these are than I expected. I'd purchase these again.

I bought these for my mom because she had a couple of large plants that she brings into her garage during the extra cold season. Instead of her carrying these since they are a little heavy, she can easily move them and lock them into place outside. She has a long driveway that is a little steep and they remain in place just fine. They were quick and easy to assemble and sturdier than expected. She has had them for almost 6 months and they are holding up great.

These require you to screw on 4 screws x4 wheels for each stand. I ordered 4 so that was 64 individual screws! Did not realize this and was not too thrilled. The wood also is very cheap - feels pretty flimsy. Painted but paint already started to chip so I imagine it will easily this summer. Also, as soon as I switched the switch for the first time (wheel lock), one snapped off - so plastic is also very cheap. Would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Using this for a stack of crates in my garage so that I can move them around easily, which weighs about 60 lbs maximum. With that degree of weight the platforms do not move around easily, they seem cheaply made and assembly them by screwing in the screws was time consuming, the pre-drilled "holes" were more like subtle indentations that were barely perceptible. I regret not spending more to get something hardier and pre-assembled.

Do not buy! Total joke! First thing I noticed - there were no screws with it. My husband said he'd look around for some small screws that might work. I hate returning things so I was ok with that. Then I noticed the screw holes in each corner weren't consistent. Should be 4 holes to match the wheel part and some had none, some had 2 or 3....& they were all over the place -- had we had screws, they would not have fit in the holes anyway. Of course, my husband said he could drill new holes and make it work. THEN we see a couple of the locking mechanisms on the wheels were even broke. Just ridiculous.....

I use these in my pottery studio to hold buckets of glaze. You need to put the wheels on yourself. One of the wood split when the screw went into the wood. Other than that, I love them!

I obviously missed the fact that there are 32 screws and the reviews that spoke to the difficulties. I have arthritis in my hands and so 32 screws just represent a very long painful time. I also bought a metal Plant Caddy for a very heavy item. One was the price of the 2 of these and had pop in wheels. Since my displeasure with the item is due to my not reading carefully, I will ask a kind friend to see if they can install the wheels.
