Just what we needed. It extends out from the wall and light finally falls down the front of the medicine cabinet. Very bright and takes a little getting used to. Note: It is non dimmable.

Only been up a week, but we love it! It's much brighter than we expected in our new bathroom, but still not as bright as we'd like so we're adding a fan light. We had limited options and this light the bill. See, we bought fixtures from IKEA and the medicine cabinet is external wall mount and stands out too far from the wall for most lights to effectively work with. If pairing with another light, remember this one is the whiter white 6k temperature style, not the yellower 3k temperature style. Very happy with the light for the price!I'd suggest before ordering visit a local Menards if you have the chance. As of February 2025, they had this on display (in St Louis at least) to get an in person perspective to see if it fits your needs. Price was similar but they only had brushed nickel and we wanted chrome which Amazon had thankfully.

I have a medicine cablinet that is outside the wall and needed a light to extend over about 10 inches. This works, looks super sleek and gives good light for a bathroom.

Put in my bathroom and adjustable 5-10 inches from the wall so will clear any cabinet. Lots bright enough. Had many compliments on it and people asking where I found it. Of course I said Amazon. I also purchased a smaller one for my ensuite. I couldn't be more satisfied !

We really had to search for new lights to put up above bathroom cabinets that weren’t bulky and would extend the light beyond the top of the cabinet. These lights were perfect in that you can rotate them up middle or down depending on your preference. We attach them so that they extended beyond the cabinet and downward, giving off a lot of light and looking sleek as well. Other than a couple small components, they were pretty easy to install ourselves super. We got two different lengths of light that matched our cabinets and couldn’t be happier

Product with a beautiful design, made with quality materials exactly as described in the advertisement, well packaged with all the accessories necessary for installation. As for how they work, I will only install them within 90 to 120 days and then I will be able to evaluate their operation and durability.PS. In the advertisement at one point it says that it is made to use a voltage of 110V and at another point in the advertisement it says that it is for 100 to 240V. Checking the description of the source I see that it is really multi voltage, that is, from 100 to 240V - 50/60Hz.

Bought two of these to go over our cabinets in the family room. Didn’t have much space between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling so these fit the bill. They’re nice looking, tilt adjustable and bright enough as they are the only ceiling lights in the room. We usually use our table lamps in the evening but still needed additional lighting for when the need arises. Great price point, well made and highly recommended.

If you are looking for a very bright light, this is it! Standing at the sink I feel like a Boeing 737 is landing in my bathroom. A dermatologist could spot a suspicious mole from the next county. I am not unhappy with it, but I did not realize it was that bright prior to purchase. So, now you know.Installation was a breeze until the part where you attach the light to the mounting bracket on the wall... then it became a nightmare. Trying to line up the holes while holding a fixture over your head and stretched across a vanity, is not pleasant. Also, the screws were very tiny and hard to hold onto. Be aware that if you are installing it over a medicine cabinet, you will need some clearance and a right-angle screwdriver. I have a thin mirror and it was still difficult to screw the screw in to the bottom hole.When all was said and done I am pleased with the fixture. It is modern, which is what I wanted.UPDATE 1 YEAR:Recently noticed there is rust all over the chrome finish on this light fixture after ONE YEAR. I expected this to not only last much longer, but to look good much longer! I would not recommend this fixture due to the corrosion in a very short time frame. Such a shame because I am very happy with the performance of the light itself. Save your money and buy something of higher quality.

As already mentioned.The small screws top and bottom are very short and difficult to start, and require that the attaching plate to be set a bit away from the wall using shims for the holes ot align. That's unusual but not too difficult. The screws however require a bare minimum of 6" clearance below the ceiling or above any cabinet for any hope that you can get the screw started which requires a 90 degree screwdriver - a somewhat unusual tool most people will have to buy. My medicine cabinet is set about 4" below the electrical box, and I was not going to remove and resinstall it to affix this light.

This product needs plenty of head space to install set screws that go top and bottom, or you’ll need a special screwdriver with a 90* head. Thankfully I had one. There’s a pivot point just before the bar, it functions, but it feels like the rods will break when you try rotating the bar up or down. You may ask why would you flip it up…because in front of a mirror is is so bright it gives me a headache with the double brightness lol. This is not a product flaw by any means. It sure is bright, but I rotated it upward and that is still plenty bright. I still wish I’d have bought something newer in style. 2021-11-20 Lamp looks very nice, BUT whoever “designed” the mounting system had no clue about bathrooms and has never installed a vanity fixture ever.- The mounting bracket is flimsy and doesn’t allow for any depth adjustments. So, check that the light box is exactly flush with the wall. If not, it doesn’t work.- The WORST problem is that the mounting screws are on the top and bottom (not the typical nuts on the front). So, not only you must have enough clearance between the box an the ceiling, BUT you have to dismount the medicine cabinet or mirror, in order to access the screw on the bottom (insane)- Aligning the top screw is quite difficult. I has to use a small screwdriver as a guiding pin and even then it took four attempts before I got the screw to thread.- The bottom one is the WORST one. I’m luckily that in my case it was a hung mirror and not a cabinet. But even after removing the mirror, getting the screw in was challenge.- WARNING the metal bracket material is so flimsy and soft, so be extra careful when tightening the ground screw. The thread is easy to damage.
