Heavy bracket, but the screws rusted in 3 days.

I used these to build up a cedar 6x6 post that had rotted off and fallen down. I trimmed the rot off the bottom of the post and built it back up to length with some treated 2x8 cut to size. After plumbing the post, I cut 1x6 cedar trim to hide my treated wood, then mounted these at each corner. They are 5" tall, so the trim was 1/2" taller.These worked great and gave the post a nice, finished appearance. I like that I can tapcon these into the concrete and hold the post securely in place.
