I'm more than a little curious about the world of aftermarket kickstands. This is the 3rd one I've tried this summer. Though it's better than the first 2, ALL of them were made of pathetic pot metal that strips out or breaks the moment it's met by any resistance. One of them broke in half just by getting "kicked" up. This one hasn't broken yet, but I won't be surprised when it does. NOTE TO ALL KICKSTAND MANUFACTURERS. If you say you're kickstand will work on a bike with 29 inch tires, you need to make them long enough to work on a bike with 29 inch tires, and make them out of material that is strong enough to survive the installation, and support the weight of the bicycle. All 4 aftermarket kickstands I've tried this summer, have stated that they would accommodate a 29" bicycle, and all 4 left my bike completely unstable and on the verge of tipping when extended to the longest possible length, regardless of where it was mounted. I picked up a bicycle at the local Goodwill that was pretty good. It's a Gira Paseo Ozone 500, for reference.It installed right behind the pedals (kind of on the back truss area).It was really easy to install and cleared the tire just fine. I didn't need to adjust the length, although that particular task looked easy to do.Exactly what I needed and with three screws, really easy to install.

This is a very sturdy kick stand. I love how it is adjustable, as the ones I have had in the past you had to cut to adjust it.I got this for my fat bike, since it is a heave bike. This should be sturdy enough to work well.If I run into any issues, I will report back but I like it so far.For value, they're asking $15 with an additional 10% off coupon and I feel like it is a nice piece of kit for the price. If you need a beefy kick stand, this is the one for you!

It was easy to mount the stand on my bike.My bike doesn't have any designated part to mount a stand, but this product fits on one of the metal part on the rear tire and works well!

After 15 years, I finally have a kick stand. I don't know why I waited so long. I really like that this kick stand is adjustable. I didn't have to worry about whether or not this was going to be the height I wanted. It connected great to my bike and I was able to adjust this to the exact size that I wanted. The only problem I ran into is there is supposed to be a little part of the adjusting part that locks it in place but it doesn't work. It doesn't lock it. I can still push the button to adjust it. It's not a big problem cause it still works and I'm happy with it. It also feels a little bit loose in the middle. Hopefully it stays functional a long time.

Reviewed: MEILANHUI Bike Kickstand for Adult Bike, Aluminum Alloy Bicycle Stand with Bicycle Spoke Reflectors Adjustable Bike Kick Stand for 24 inch to 29 inch Mountain Bike, Road Bike(Black)I tried installing on a very round chain stay and it did not work. I was afraid I was going to squash the aluminum tubing. The manufacturer should include a plastic adapter for round tubes. -1 star for not having an adapter for round tubes.I ended up using it on a Specialized Myka that has very square chainstays. Worked like a charm - very secure.If you have medium to large Squared off or oval chainstays, this kickstand works great!--- NOTE: the extra spoke reflector gift was much appreciated by my daughter! It made out evening. +1 star !!!! This is the first time I have ever given back a star for a free gift, this was a nice functional compliment. We removed our nasty looking factory wheel reflectors.
