I find these to to be very high quality cutters. I have many sizes of these in this brand and use them regularly in a production shop. I see no difference between these and the name brand, even after cutting 50 to 100 holes . I question the negative reviews. These must be used properly, which means using the correct machine driving them, the correct speed and feed rate, and drilling the correct material. These are not for hand drills or typical drill presses.

Not very good. Kept it cool with cutting oil but only got three hole drilled before it went dull. Using it on flat stock 3/4 inch thick.

Used it to shave down the end of my Mini-14 barrel for a muzzle brake to the correct size for threading.

Tried a single test hole on mild steel. Went ok. Clean hole started a second and went maybe a sixteenth in and that's it. Wont even start to cut again. Pure garbage. Glad I didnt use on my actual project.
