Tried to cut a hole in a truck frame. This bit was not hard enough. It did not even cut the depth of the tooth points before it would not cut anymore

I use them in a milling machine and the typically cut a few thousandths overside. They cut very well but I only use them a few times so I don't know how long they will last but I expect they should wear well.

It’s pretty sad that a regular hole saw got farther than this annular cutter did. This annular cut dulled in a matter of seconds and It was completely lubed with annular cutter wax. After my first regular hole saw’s teeth broke off I went out and bought a 2 1/8” Lenox carbide teeth hole saw and drilled all three of my holes. It took awhile with the hole saw but the hole saw never dulled and was half the price of this annular cutter. My suggestion is that if you going to buy a big annular cutter, buy one with carbide teeth. You only have to spend a few more dollars to get the carbide teeth and I assume it’d be well worth It. I just couldn’t wait long enough for another Amazon order.
