I purchased several of these to drill holes in the frame rails of an old semi. It was rusty. I expected to use a bunch of these bits. Nope! I drilled almost 80 HOLES WITH THE SAME BIT!!! Still have the other ones in the cellophane yet. This was a high strength heavy duty heat treated frame rail! A pleasant surprise I DID NOT EXPECT!! A+

Single pass hole drilling is so much more efficient than using several increasingly larger drill bits to get to the final hole size when required hole size is greater than 3/8"

The quality of the drill bit is great , i had to return it , only because i made the mistake of ordering the wrong size and i re-ordered the right size this time .

First time I have used one of these types of cutter, I drill alot of holes with my Jet Drill press and these things just cant be beat, I am cooling thru the center with Antifreeze and they dont heat up at all. 1/2" hole thru 1/2 AR50 plate in under 30 seconds.
