This product is fine if you just want a seat cover but the photos make it appear that it has a rigid bottom which would give your pet extra support and security but it doesn't. It's like a hammock so my pup slides around on the slippery fabric. Was easy to install and easy to shake off/wipe clean (due to the slippery fabric). Fine for the price but I would recommend a rigid bottom, or a car bed - which I will have to buy (more money).

The pictures made it appear that the sides were solid and not clothe like most dog hammocks. This one is no different from the last one we had we were moving on from...

I like how this keeps my seats clean and that there is a hammock ability to this. This cover also comes with velcro close holes near where the seatbelts go, allowing for a dog seat belt to be used with this product. I do wish it provided more support for my dog but the price works great for me.

We have purchased two of these dog car seat covers. They are easy to put in and take out of the car. They seem to hold up well with daily use by our medium size dog and do fine protecting the car seat. You should not however put them in the washing machine. We did and it caused the protective material to flake off. The best way we find to clean them is to spread them out on the driveway and hose them off, scrub with a long handle brush or broom and a little Dawn. They air dry quickly.

This is the second one of these covers we have purchased. We have a second home and liked this product so much after using it for a few years in the one location that we bought the same thing for our SUV in the the second location. It is well made, easy to install, and keeps our dog feeling secure in the back seat. We just have a little 20 lb cockapoo and I will often take him with me to the store or running errands. I want to keep the back seats clean after his paws get dirty from walking in the stores, parks or parking lots. It takes less than a minute to install or remove this cover, which I really like when I am configuring the back seats for whatever I am doing. I spent over $100 on a similar product from Weathertech several years ago for a sedan. It is well made and also easy to install but cost well over $100. It doesn't quite fit in the SUV and I wasn't about to spend another $100+ to buy something for our SUV. For $30, the active pets cover does everything we need. I highly recommend this product if you just want something well made, inexpensive and simple.

OVERALL:I would recommend this seat cover for the size, price, and ease-of-installation. I trust this thing to keep my car clean and to keep the dogs safely in the back seat. 2 years in and so far so good!SIZING:This seat cover fits the backseat of my SUV, covering the sides of the seats too.INSTALLATION:Very fast and easy to understand. The cover clips around your headrests and are not too bulky.COMFORT:The material is not soft and is a bit tougher so it can catch liquid/hair etc, but all the dogs I've had use it haven't seemed to mind!This is an especially great design for dogs who like head/chin support (see: photo of white dog using the hammock function every time we go for a ride).CLEANING:I haven't had to clean up any liquid accidents on this yet. The seat cover does hold onto dog hair pretty strongly. This feature is great for keeping your car clean, but you will need to vacuum it or at least change into something you don't mind getting a little dog hairy when you want to remove the cover.

I liked how it fit but only lasted one month and now it’s trashed. Definitely not durable and I would not buy again. Perhaps if you have small dogs it would be ok but won’t last for large dogs.

The second time I have tried a product of this type and the material used is not fit for purpose. Any small nick in the material I.e from a fairly blunt dogs claw, instantly turns into a tear that will continue to rip. Do not buy this product.

Set up was very easy. Water resistance and the product being easy to clean hasn't really been put to the test yet. I have two blue heelers, and so far the product is high quality in that it's been able to hold up without tearing or ripping etc. I have a 2016 chevy cruze. The side flaps of the cover almost fit perfect but not quite. However, the seat is covered so cant complain. The adjustable straps are a real treasure for this product. With changing drivers and passengers as the seats move, you're still able to adjust the cover so that it fits perfectly. Havent installed a car seat yet so I cant comment on its baby/kid compatibility yet. I'm not due till July, will write an update on the carseat/baby thing. All in all, this product was worth the buy, depending on your vehicle it will fit slightly different however, the cover does as it says.
