Sturdy, well built and keepsy dog from knocking overy guitar.Best feature is a pin lock that keeps the neck from being opened. I had issues with the first one I ordered never arriving, but was able to fix that with Amazon and get another. Still no clue where the first one is but hopefully someone is loving it. I'm getting ready to order another one for my growing collection.

This is a strong secure sturdy stand at a reasonable price. This is just what is required for full scale five-string banjos. Until recently I have been using violin stands, but they simply not strong enough to deal with my large Tubaphone banjos. I use these stands at home in my music room where I often have 4 or 5 banjos and a couple acoustic guitars on stands within reach if I need them for figuring out music or practicing. They are actually more inexpensive, but sturdier than the violin stands I have been using. what I particularly like is the support they provide for the neck.

I got this for my husband's birthday. He needed one really bad for that guitar being on the floor. He loved it.

This guitar stand is a great choice for keeping your instrument safe and secure. It’s sturdy, well-designed, and holds the guitar perfectly without any wobbling or slipping. The padding protects the guitar's finish, and it’s easy to fold and store when not in use. Ideal for both home and stage setups. Highly recommended for any guitarist looking for a reliable stand!

I am very pleased with the foldable and portable guitar stand. It is very sturdy and durable, not flimsy. As decribed, it has a locking mechanism type latch that secures the guitar neck from slipping or if not being used. I like the foam parts where it protects the guitar surfaces from being scratched and cradles the guitar off the floor. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this stand and I give it 5 stars.

This is a very nice concept but poorly executed. When yo unfold it from jte package it seems to want to fold back up. Only the guitar keeps it from folding back up. Each time you replace the guitar you need to make sure that it is in the correct position. The Neck Clamp is not padded in the back so the neck will rest on hard Plastic. I'm returnng because I don't trust it.

First off there is false advertising, they show a hand screw to lock the top mechanism in place, that has been modified on the version I received to be a snap lock, which just by lifting it can come loose and drop the lower stand down to hit you knee...The folding option is its downfall, everything falls apart and does not hold well at all... They have tried to create a sturdy well made stand and it is, in many ways.. But I had to Gorilla tape where the top part meets the shaft, and also where the two folding areas are at the base, before this stand was secure and safe for any instrument. I attempted to put protective rubber tubing around the top holder, but stopped as you can see, because like another reviewer stated there is not real protection for the neck of a valued Guitar at the back where it moves. You can remove the neck brace, like the picture with the Strat, and it is like two stands in one and that one is stable, but I might as well have bought a stand like the one pictured beside for half the price... So good concept and idea and well made, but a total disaster in the long run...I should have sent it back, but now that everything is taped she is solid, so will use at home for practice, but not on the road, especially because of the foldup option... 3 stars...!!!

Had a part leftover after put together. There was no hole for it to go in per instructions. Does the job.

I like that it folds up and is easy to carry and travel with. It’s sturdy and even has a little locking feature so your guitar won’t fall forward. I’ve never had any reason to use it because it’s sturdy, but if I know there could be kids or others on the stage wanting to mess with my unattended guitar, I know that they would at least have a little bit of a hard time getting it.

I am an amateur player, was in need of my first home-use electric stand. I exhaustively read reviews on Amazon and elsewhere and nothing seemed ideal at the price point I wanted. I decided to take a chance on this one for $29.99 and am very satisfied. As someone said, it does not have padding where the back of the guitar neck contacts the stand, but it is plastic there so not a problem for me. If you have a very expensive guitar you want to protect, can put a cloth over this part (I do sometimes) or go with a more expensive stand. It does the job well of holding the guitar in place, not tipping. It feels like a sturdy stand.I didn't realize when I ordered it the stand has a little pincher release that you have to press on either side of the neck rest, but once I got used to doing that each time I remove or place my guitar back, I kind of like this added feature to keep the guitar from falling forward out of the stand. I'm very happy, would recommend at this price for sure.
