This little device has completely turned things around. It’s super easy to set up—just plug it into a USB port, install the drivers (which took less than 5 minutes), and boom—I was connected to my WiFi.The dual-band capability is a huge plus. I can switch between 2.4GHz for better range and 5GHz for faster speeds, depending on what I’m doing. Streaming, gaming, and video calls are now smooth and lag-free, which is a massive improvement over my laptop’s built-in WiFi.I also love how compact it is. It’s barely noticeable when plugged in, making it perfect for both desktop and laptop use. Plus, it’s compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, and even XP, so it’s versatile enough for almost any setup. If you’re dealing with slow or spotty WiFi, this adapter is a must-have. It’s affordable, easy to use, and delivers fantastic performance.

A life saver! I had a driver conflict with my network adapter that kept causing issues connecting to the internet. Yes I can resolve the issue by updating drivers… but it’s a little hard to do when you don’t have internet! This little device is great to have on hand in the event your primary network connection goes out. It’s very fast too (surprising that a good network adapter can be fitted into such a small device).

This adapter works and is easy to install. I lost my WiFi adapter driver in an update, I believe, but this adapter has restored wi fi on my pc. I recommend it.

It was easy to install. Literally plug and play on a Windows machine. I have also tried this on a Mac. The quality is good and the design is compact. I have used other USB wireless adapters that had a smaller footprint. I was pleased with the performance as this adapter was being used as a replacement for the lack of a built-in Wi-Fi adapter. As with any adapter, it got warm while being used, but not too hot to touch. If you need a higher bandwidth an greater distance, I recommend a more expensive adapter with an antenna. This is more practical for a small home and basic browsing application.

Installed on a Win10 box that was using another brand of USB network card - this one is giving better download performance than the other one did. You'll get great performance if you're in close proximity of your router (I'm about 10 feet from it). I'm not sure how well it would do across the house though since the single biggest indicator of wireless performance is going to be your antenna and this clearly has a very compressed antenna which is obviously a compromise to ideal antenna performance. Antennas also get interference if they are close to other metal objects or magnetic fields - a computer obviously has both. So if you want top performance this wouldn't be your choice, but it does give great performance for the ease of use and install.

For a device no larger than the last joint of my index finger and selling at a bargain price, this WiFi adapter is delivering very good performance. When I first plugged it in and before installing the included device driver, this WiFi adapter was delivering more than 80 Mbps from several on-line speed test sites from my router's 2.5GHz WiFi access point. This WiFi adapter also functions as a thumb drive and contains the device driver, which was a breeze to install on my Windows laptop computer. That enabled faster performance and the ability to work with my router's two 5GHz channels as well.My computer is about 50 feet from my router. The signal must pass through four interior walls to get to this adapter. Typical Internet speed at the router is 500+Mbps. For me having a WiFi speed in excess of 100 Mbps is more than adequate for my needs without using a large cumbersome adapter with external antennas. This WiFi adapter provides me with good performance in a compact size at a bargain price and gives me better speed than another adapter I've used that has bulky external antennas.
