This part saved me over 300$ by saving my compressor. If you plan on doing the labor yourself get a good set of snap ring remove tool . ( I did it with pocket screwdriver from harbor freight -That made it a two person job )

Just installed on my '06 Subaru Outback 2.5I. I shopped several local "Big Chain" auto parts and two on line parts stores. Most didn't offer the clutch with out the compressor attached to it and the one that did offer one had a retail price of almost $200.00. Upon receiving the new clutch Assy. that, by the way, was identical in every way to the Subaru part it replaced I installed it and lo and behold A/C that blows ice cubes! The part kit was packaged extremely well and arrived 4-5 days earlier than was originally quoted. The bad news? it was only $150.00 less money and was available! Many Thanks to this Company

Replaced clutch pulley assembly on a 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5i. This unit works fine, HOWEVER, it comes with two washers, they are too thin. You must get a thicker washer and place it it between the cover plate and the pulley bearing or else the cover plate will rub against the outside of the pulley, resulting in frictional heat / thermal expansion, this thermal expansion will cause the pulley to transfer momentum to the cover plate and when the compressor is turned off whether by the ac switch or the compressor relay, the pulley will still try to rotate the compressor shaft. This will cause your belt to slip and make a terrible sound. Long story short, buy a thicker washer.

A jumped belt had melted the electromagnet connector on my compressor. A new OEM compressor costs over $3,000. This replacement part fit perfect, engages quickly, and has been working great for months
