Packed maple syrup into 8oz flasks, and used these caps. The fit was inconsistent, some would not screw down, or bound up on the threads before seating. Most of my flasks did not seal, so I threw out these caps and repacked the whole batch. Terrible.

I've been purchasing these for a while and watched the price continue to climb and with the recent $6 I'm not sure these are worth it since there's always the chance I will get a bag of scratched up tops and they don't always tighten.

We bought these twist-off caps to use for small gift-sized bottles of homemade wine. Our small glass bottles came from the dollar tree and came with only a small uneven cork in the top (not a true cork), so these caps were just what we needed. I measured our bottles before ordering and the 28mm size fits perfectly and does not leak even if tipped upside-down. Good value.

They are OK. They do appear as listed except for the inner seal. It has the cardboard-like inner seal with a white paper-like layer over it that curls when wet -- a problem since do sanitize prior to use, therefore curls and is a concern to lay flat. They seem to seal nonetheless, lay flat, and may be used several times, as it appears, -- I would expect several uses. Now after use, I am not entirely sure they are a "better" alternative to capping, e.g. cork.As far as value, it seems to me, there may room for a better price.They came, loose filling into a bubble wrap mailer, -- meaning, no "packaging", loose into mailer. This is fine, however, again, the bulk value for me does not seem to be there, or passed on.
