These are a nice little starter set for anyone wanting to get into baking. The silicone was a bit fiddly to get used to but I like the extra help they provide as a liner to avoid a lot of leakage. Price is fair for how much you get, they aren't the best pans ever but they're great to learn with so you aren't wasting a ton of money on an expensive set if you aren't sure how much you'll use them. I will warn not to put these in the dishwasher, the hinges will rust and lower the life of the pans or risk them bending slightly.

One of the things with springform pans that always makes me nervous is how tight the fittings are. I am by no means a professional baker. However, I do make a lot of cakes from box mixes, and they can be a little thin and I’m always nervous putting them into a springform pan because I feel that they are going to leak. That was not the case with these three pans.we used a Betty Crocker cake mix and mixed it per the instructions on the box. Poured it into a greased pan. we used a Betty Crocker cake mix and mixed it per the instructions on the box. We poured it into an unlined, greased pan and baked it per the instructions on the box. We didn’t have any issues with the cake. It baked as expected. The springform came off super easy And gave us nice smooth edges. I love that there are three different sizes and we could create a small tiered cake with the box mix. Cleanup was really simple. We rinsed out the cake, Van with soap and water and threw it into the dishwasher on our normal cycle.

This is an amazing price for a very versatile set of bakeware. With three different sizes to choose from, you can make any and all baked goods you like, all at one time!I greatly appreciate the 10” silicone tart pan for the water bath when making cheesecake. The silicone can be used for any of the included springform pans. I found the latches on the pan to be sufficiently strong and the base kept tight enough to keep my cheesecake from oozing out into the water bath. The non-stick surface was as advertised and my cakes released cleanly from the walls. While my cheesecake recipe needs some work, these pans are great for practicing.

The springpans work great! They are exactly as the seller describes, pictures, and dimensions of what you receive. The pans are very easy to use and clean after. I have had no issues with sticking, burning, or cleaning them. In making layered cakes, they have worked great, and better than my other pans that these are now my go-to pans to use.I am very happy with how easy they are, and even temp baking they provide. Absolutely recommend.

This is the first time I've used a springform pan, so take my experience for what that's worth. I am also relatively new to gluten free baking and have been working my way through "Cannelle et Vanille Bakes Simple: A New Way to Bake Gluten-Free" by Aran Goyoaga. This recipe is a Meringue Cake with Roasted Apples. The cake batter is moist and reminds me of zucchini bread. Batters like this, I usually see being poured into pans lined with parchment paper (and that was an option to this recipe, but I wanted to try a springform pan). This batter went straight into the largest springform pan in this set, which is about 8 2/3". Then you whip up meringue that fills both the remaining 2/3rd height of the pan as well as an inch or two above it while it's inflating in the oven. As it cools the meringue wants to come down over the lip of the pain (or at least mine did). I waited the recommend 20 minutes (from the recipe book) and used a bundt cake plastic knife to release the cake from the sides so as not to damage the non-stick coating. This really needed to be done, the cake and meringue are not the type of batter to want to pull away from the sides of pan of their own volition. The cake came out in one lovely piece, missing a few crumbs here and there despite the moist sticky batter and the super stickiness of baked-on meringue. Crumbs stuck to the side of the pan (picture provided), but I got all of the meringue without losing any. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to remove the base before putting it in my cake storage container (which is really just a glass tagine that a friend didn't want). I have plastic knives for non-stick bakeware, so in my mind, it didn't matter if the base was supposed to be freed from the cake bottom. But if it was, I think it would have given me some hassle, as I see that it sort of wants to stick a tiny bit as I cut out slices with a plastic knife. Not terribly though. Just what you might expect from something the consistency of zucchini bread. It seems reasonable to me for the type of cake batter I was using. I have however, played with some non-stick bakeware, where once you pre-grease it, it just pops right out leaving almost nothing behind - but different doughs, different recipes, it's hard to account for all factors. Overall I'm very pleased with these. I did not bake with the silicone base, but I put the spring from piece on it after I released it. So I can't speak to how well this works for a water-bath cheesecake. That will have to be down the road. I did find that it's a fairly tight fit for the largest pan and I had to fuss with it a bit to make sure the clamp didn't push on the silicone form. But maybe that's a good thing and maybe I'm still awkward in the kitchen (I'd place very good money on that).

This springform pan is cheaply made. The bottom does not fit snuggly and allows liquids/fats to leak out during baking. Had I not had the silicone shield under the pan, I’d have had a lot of butter and water dripping into my oven. Also, the latch does not release smoothly which caused me to drop my freshly baked cheesecake. I regret buying this pan.

I don't make springform cakes frequently and with my current pan, I would have to put a tray underneath because it had reached that stage where it no long was 100% sealed.I haven't had an issue yet with these new pans. I like the silicone pan that I can place underneath, although I'm more comfortable with it to catch from the smaller springform pans that the one it fits most tightly (thereby not having so much extra in case of further spillage).I'm a firm believer in hand washing my pans, to help them and their non-stick coating (those that have it) last longer. I'd recommend you do the same.

This is not a 9" pan, it is slightly over 8". False advertising.
