These get the job done, though if your chair leg is not perfectly the size of the protector, it will occasionally fall off if you move your chairs around a lot. It fits our dining chairs though and works well to protect the floors.

I got tired of replacing stick-on felt floor protectors…we tended not to notice that one had worked it’s way off until that chair leg started scratching our hardwood kitchen floor. These seem to be more secure and actually function much better. They look fine, although I wish there were a lighter brown option to match our teak chairs. The clear silicone rubber boot is unobtrusive and slips securely onto the chair leg (but measure carefully). I expect that these will stand up well over time, but if not I’ll amend this review. As of now, we recommend them highly.Note added: after writing a review I usually check other reviewers comments to make sure I hadn’t missed something. One person was unhappy that chairs did not slide over the floor easily when sitting on the chair. We have seen no problem with this.

These chair leg protectors fit securely and provide excellent protection for hardwood floors. The 360° felt-wrapped bottom ensures smooth movement while preventing scratches and reducing noise. The material stretches well, making installation easy without the need for tools.I used these on several chairs, and they stayed in place without slipping. The felt holds up well, even with frequent movement, and the design works for different leg shapes. A reliable option for protecting floors while keeping furniture easy to move.

I haven't been able to find floor protectors for square legs at my local stores so I was happy to discover these. The slipped on fairly easily and are staying in place well. The only thing that I am disappointed in with these protectors is that the clear part turned cloudy after about a month. But it doesn't seem to affect their holding ability as they are still as snug as when I first installed them. I am using them on my dining room chairs which get used multiple times each day and they are holding up well.

I got another pair of these chair leg protectors a while ago and have been seriously impressed! Comparing them to ones we had previously (see Pic; OLD-left, NEW-right), these new pads are better in every way.+ Superior fit. I've used other types of protectors and none of them fit as snugly as these. They are hard to get on, but it's worth the effort. You'll want to pry them open as much as you can and be sure to fit them all the way on - don't leave a gap.+ superior grip. These have better, stronger material that has a much more secure grip, with less chance of sliding or pulling off.+ superior look. The clear sides are barely noticeable - much more attractive than the cloudy rubber of others. The rich brown of the felt is also better looking.+ Superior glide. These slide much more smoothly than other protectors.+ Superior protection. The padding goes past the edge and up the sides a bit, providing more thorough protection, less opportunity for debris to collect in the gaps, and less chance of tearing off.The only thing I don't like about them is they only come in a pack of 16. It would be nice to have an option of 24 or 32.
